* Installation of the Univeral Drill-On Bottom Tankring Kit is only appropriate in two situations:

If your bike has a plastic panel covering the tank and no gascap, such as on the F650GS or many Buell models, use this kit to secure a tankring to the panel.

If you wish to attach a tankbag to your rear fender (e.g. on a dirtbike or KTM), use this kit to secure a tankring onto the rear fender; however, we only recommend use of the Bags-Connection Daypack II.

If your bike has an off-center gascap, a gascap without screw holes in the rim, no gascap (electric bike?), or dual off-center gascaps, then this tankbag CANNOT be used with your bike.
The following bikes cannot use the SW-MOTECH Quick-Lock tankbag mount; most of these bikes DO NOT have threaded gas-cap screws located in the top center of the gasoline tank:
