Here we have information to tankring changes for an assortment of BMW Motorcycles.

The picture below illustrates the differences in gascap mounting configurations on certain BMW motorcycles produced after (approximately) August 2008. We have seen some variance on both sides of this date, so we encourage you to double check the underside of the gascap outer ring on your specific machine prior to ordering. This requires removing the four Torx-head screws, visible with the filler cap open, and lifting the filler assembly out of the fuel tank. Left: old "snap" fit is compatible with TRT.00.475.123 and TRT.00.475.124 tankrings. Right: new "screws" will work with TRT.00.475.12700 or TRT.00.475.12800.
