This is quite a large bag consisting of mostly one large compartment. So unless you are going on a long road trip and will pack it full, you might look at the Rearbag instead. The sides of the Racepack extend out beyond the rider's torso, where they will catch wind and possibly buffet if not filled and cinched down tightly. (This is not to mention the resulting increase in fuel consumption.) Then there's the problem of possibly wanting to retrieve something from the bottom of the Racepack when it is full.
The Rearbag, while not as large, does expand upward, staying well within the rider's slipstream 'shadow'.
The Bags Connection products are all very well made, however. It is just a matter of carefully considering your particular application. (Posted on 8/8/14)
