Maximum wind and rain protection for street and adventure-touring bikes! Storm Bar End Mount Backbone features an aluminum frame that mounts to the end of the handlebar. Ideal for bikes without space on the handlebar or other mounting methods.

Storm handguards have an aerodynamic design and a larger profile that wraps around the hands to offer excellent wind and weather protection. The wide profile is great for street riding and open trails.
Available with black or chrome plastics. Chrome plastics are not recommended for off-road use.

Barkbusters handguards were first manufactured in 1984 and now have over 28 years of motorcycle industry experience and riding enthusiasm. That history means Barkbusters has what it takes to produce the finest handguards available on the market today. Barkbusters integrates a hardened aluminum backbone with a stylish, replaceable plastic guard to create a truly functional handguard. No more busted levers or knuckles! In the unlikely event that you break a part of the handguard, every piece is replaceable.

Not compatible with variable-height wind deflector or Supermoto skidplates.

Fits tubular handlebars with 6mm or 8mm threaded bar-end inserts using a single-sided mounting kit.

Wondering if you'll have interference issues with your fairing or windshield? Check out the link at the bottom of the page for detailed fitting information. This will tell you the distance the guards extend from the bars.

Wanted to add some extra wind protection and options to do this on current gen FJRs seem pretty limited however the Storm S7 goes straight on with no issues at all.

Some interference at extreme lock however as the S7s don't have an inner bracket they just flex out of the way so no concerns there at all. Contact is minimal as well.

Very high quality product and very pleased with them. 15 minute install once you identify the right length bolt to use - everything in the kit you need though. You do loose the stock bar ends using these but there is still a fair bit of weight for the fitment kit so no concerns about bar vibration being any worse, not that this is an issue on the FJR anyway in my experience.
