It wasn't too long until SIDI began specializing in cycling footwear and boots for off-road and on-road motorcycling. Dino Signori has combined a passion for cycling with more than 50 years of experience manufacturing innovative sporting footwear. Thanks to this passion and a deep, intuitive knowledge of the business SIDI have become the market leader in cycling and motorcycle shoes. SIDI's unique balance of tradition and innovation, style and comfort, make SIDI sporting footwear exceptional in the industry, and now the folks at Twisted Throttle bring these exceptional boots to you!
SIDI boots have a shifter pad molded from DuPont Techno-polymers which ensure that the plastics qualities will not change in high or low temperatures.
The composite inner sole of SIDI boots resists side to side compression, offering greater protection than leather inner soles. The insole features a removable arch support which will never lose its dynamic characteristics. It is also water resistant and designed to withstand high footpeg pressures.
Every bolt on component is available separately, which means that if it's a part you can remove, it's a part you can replace. This increases the life of your boots after crashes or years of riding use.
SIDI Technomicro Construction
SIDI uses its own proprietary material called 'SIDI Technomicro', which is a composite micro fiber material created from strands that are less than 1/1000 the thickness of silk. SIDI then injects it with special resins, so these fibers act like natural leather skin, but with the advantage of better strength, softer texture, lighter weight and better moisture protection. Technomicro is also highly abrasion resistant, yet it still breathes with more the three million pores per square centimeter. Easily maintained, Technomicro doesn't stain, can't be scratched, offers reduced weight, more flexibility and a better feel than leather or other synthetic materials.
Each Crossfire 2 SRS boot is lined with lightweight perforated Teflon® treated fabric, which allows moisture to 'breath'. This moisture is quickly transferred to the Lorica outer, which makes it dry quickly with no long-term mold build up.

Adjustable Calf System
The boot leg has a replaceable inner polyurethane plate with a heat resistant rubber insert to protect the leg from exhaust heat, wear and tear. The calf plate features an inner double adjustment, which allows to widen the circumference of the boot and accommodate even the widest of calves.
Dual Flex System Upper
The Crossfire 2 maintains the key feature of the Sidi Flex system, with its 2 articulated joints. The first lower one, on the ankle, improves leg flexation and allows for a more natural and correct position of the foot pegs. The upper pivot, on the bootleg, improves the boots flexibility and the adjustment of the bootleg itself
Micro Adjustable and Replaceable Buckle System
The Crossfire 2 utilizes four micro adjustable buckle closures, with indented memory-regulation straps. The buckles, straps and retaining clips are easily replaceable. The buckles have just one fixing point (by a screw), which allows them to be easily replaceable. All four buckles work independently from each other.
