The R&G Offset Cotton Reels for Honda CBR500R '13-'16. CB500F '13-'16 & CB500X '13-'16 bolt to the rear axle to provide a rear lifting point for using a paddock stand while also serving as sliders in the event of a tip over or slide. High Density Polyethylene bobbins are impact and abrasion resistant to effectively protect the swingarm, rear brakes and sprocket from contact with the ground. R&G uses high strength stainless steel brackets to mount the cotton reels and finishes them in a durable black powder coating. Use with a paddock stand to make chain maintenance and tire changes easier, or keep the tire off the ground during long term storage. Have now had two sets, the second supposedly the "improved" version though hard to see any difference from the first. Both spindles bent upwards shortly after being used. Nothing special about how they were engaged on a CBR500r. They're expensive too. (Posted on 9/11/2014)
