Get solid tank grip without snagging! Get the TechSpec Gripster Sport GEN sheets with the center tank protector to cut to a custom shape for your application. Many pre-cut bike specific shapes are also available.

All Techspec options feature a "Releasable Adhesive" allowing  you to remove and reuse without leaving icky sticky goo behind.

Includes left, right and center sheets.

Four material options available:

Snake Skin: The most popular tank grip pad with a low profile black diamond pattern. Allows for added grip on your tank to alleviate pressure on the wrists, elbows and shoulders.

High Fusion: The thinnest (0.035in) TechSpec Gripster option using a synthetic rubber blend to create a rough texture to give you plenty of grip on the tank while relieving wrist, elbow and shoulder pressure while also acting as paint protection.

C3: The C3 is a synthica rubber (0.100in) offering great grip with vibration reduction to increase comfort.

I installed TechSpec onto my SV1000S a few months ago, and enjoy the product... not quite as sticky/grippy against leathers as some other options (let's say, Product 'SG') but the aesthetics are, in my opinion substantially better. Wanted to add the material to my ancient 1stGen Bandit 1200, but pre-cut panels weren't available- so these 'blank' sheets turned out to be a very good solution to my needs. I cut the material using aviation-style compound snips, but any pair of rugged scissors should be adequate... touched up the edges with coarse sandpaper and voilà, custom-made TechSpec panels. Application was easy (a hairdryer can help fit the material into recessed or scalloped tanks- be wary with a heat gun, though!) and the pads seem to be well-stuck in place. At this point, two thumbs up! (Posted on 11/12/2014)

I was excited when I received the product, but was very disappointed that when applied to my bike, the material right away separated from the adhesive backing on a marginally curved surface, I do not know if this was old stock as the backing was a bit brownish in color, but I was able to use it once I went and got some 3M molding tape and applied to the protector and applied to the bike. I like how it looks and feels, but not happy with the adhesion properties. (Posted on 7/13/2014)
