Get solid tank grip without snagging! Kit includes right, left & center tank grips.

All Techspec options feature a "Releasable Adhesive" allowing  you to remove and reuse without leaving icky sticky goo behind.

Includes left, right and center sheets.

Three material options available:

Snake Skin: The most popular tank grip pad with a low profile black diamond pattern. Allows for added grip on your tank to alleviate pressure on the wrists, elbows and shoulders.

High Fusion: The thinnest (0.035in) TechSpec Gripster option using a synthetic rubber blend to create a rough texture to give you plenty of grip on the tank while relieving wrist, elbow and shoulder pressure while also acting as paint protection.

C3: The C3 is a synthica rubber (0.100in) offering great grip with vibration reduction to increase comfort.

The vendor website notes these as left and right tank pads, but it also came with a spine connector that I wasn't expecting. (Posted on 2/17/2015)

My bike fit me well from the start but I wanted something that made gripping the tank even more comfortable and without scratching the paint. I researched the options available for my black and settled on the TechSpec Gripster since it was the thickest and grippiest of the choices. Yes you can get the sheets and then cut to suit but for me, having it cut at the factory meant more professional finished edges.

Installation was a breeze for the left side but the right side was more of a challenge since the front end kept lifting off and the front half was not stuck down properly. I held it does with my palm for over a minute and while it stuck down at that time, by next morning it had lifted off again. I sent a message to TechSpec asking for advice and never got a reply. That cost them one star in this review. Meanwhile I pulled off the front 1/3 of the Gripster that was not sticking and then curved it so that it fit the curvature of the tank better. I ensured that the inside of the Gripster contacted the tank first before laying down the outside edges last. It worked. So lesson learned - make sure that the inner areas of the Gripster are stuck down first and then outplay down the outer part of the pad.

The fact that it is not so sticky is actually a selling point since it is touted as being removable and awithout leaving any gummy residue. That is indeed true, although I have no idea how many apply-remove cycles it can withstand.

Anyway, it works very well. Comfortable under the knees and there is no sliding forward on the seat under braking. Also helps to relieve load on the arms and palms when gripping the bike between the knees. Great product and highly recommended. (Posted on 12/31/2014)
