Arrived FAST.

Just installed. Right side a challenge. Be patient. Stick with it. On the "triangle" of three bolts I worked the lower one in first. Took some patience. I played with starting the engine mount bolt before, during, and after. I think I got started on the lower triangle bolt, then started the engine mount bolt, then got the triangle bolt just in a few turns. Then got the other two triangle mount bolts started. Got the clamp bolts started. Then rotated thru all tightening all up a little at a time.

Buy a set of long, straight hex keys that work on your socket set. I really wish I had that when installing.

Other side went on easy. I mean, really easy.

I imagine from looking at it mounted that this will provide great protection. Gives just a slight hint of an adventure bike look. So what. On this bike they will see it from behind. If I wanted pretty I would have kept my Aprilia.

Set up looks great. Yes, orange is off a shade. Not enough to worry about. I didn't tell my wife or buddy. Want to see if they notice. I had previously read about so looked for it. I will buy some orange touch up paint and do the clamp mounting bolts. Other bolts are stainless so probably can't keep them orange. (Posted on 5/5/2016)

I received the bars a week ago and the weather was nice out so I can work in the garage comfortably. I checked to make sure all the parts were there and started working. The instructions are good and all the hardware is pretty good quality. The project went fairly smoothly till I got to the point of screwing in the bolt that is located just to front of the oil cooler for the front of right side bar. The allen bolt would not line up squarely with the slot in the bar and the hole in the crankcase. I had to VERY carefully file the head of the bolt with my bench grinder's fine wheel to get the head of the bolt to clear the oil cooler but leave enough material so the head of the bolt could still clamp the flange of the bar with enough force to keep it tight and not back out. What a pain in the butt !!! It added at least 35 minutes to the install time. Other than this glitch, the install went relatively smoothly. Also the color of the bars is slightly off compared to the oem color of the frame. You will need to be very handy with tools and have plenty of time to get the job done right. (Posted on 1/25/2016)

The bars are awesome and are a perfect fit only thing is the color is slightly different from the orange used on KTM's to paint the frame. Also recommended to install tank sliders to protect your bike along with the bars. (Posted on 12/23/2015)

Installation was extremely easy and it looks great!! Orange is ever so slightly off, but that's me being hyper critical - everyone else says it looks factory! One of the best aftermarket items I have put on my '15 Super Duke R!!! (Posted on 11/18/2015)
