Purchased a pair for my '15 Versys 1000LT. Very impressed with the quality of the bars and their sturdiness. Instruction could clearer than they are. (Posted on 6/6/2016)

These are nice crash bars and look good on the bike. I'd have given a 5 star rating except.....: In order to install, one must remove 3 fairings on each side of the bike, as well as the front fairing, which necessitates removing the windshield assembly. The install instructions only mention the 3 fairings and fail to point out that there is a small bolt at the very front of the side fairing that must be removed - can't get to it without removing the front fairing and windshield assembly, which is pretty much a pain. Hope I never have to remove the crash bars, for more reasons than one! If you're also going to install the SW Motech skid plate, recommend that you do that prior to to the crash bar install because there is a common attach point with the skid plate and crash bar on each side. That attach point calls for a spacer to be used with the crash bar, but the brace used with the skid plate fits perfectly as a spacer at that point. (Posted on 3/8/2016)
