There's more than one way to skin a cat. I have always been a function over form kind of guy. I don't tour much so I didn't want to break the bank but I didn't want low bid garbage either. There are so many creative systems for carrying stuff on a moto these days it kinda blows my mind. These bags (when packed right) are 100%, no advertising hyperbole, waterproof. They are durable (short of bombproof hard cases) and do not require a bolt on mounting rack. The tail section on my FZ-09 tapers away to nothing but I can still rig these bags so they do not encroach on the rear tires range of travel. The only thing I don't like is how they look...but I got them on bright orange to be more visible...go figure? (Posted on 6/18/2016)

I really like these bags, they swallow up a ton of gear. Plenty of room if you travel lightly as I do. One small complaint, the straps that go over the seat are some what short. I have side racks that fit tightly up against the bike so bags, gear, etc. won't swing into the rear wheel. The upper straps are at least 12" too short. I bought some 1.5 inch webbing off eBay and now everything is great but, the 10 YARDS of webbing was only $10 delivered so an extra foot or two wouldn't add squat to the price. Couldn't they make the straps a foot or two longer and let people cut to fit their bikes? (Posted on 3/7/2016)

I am really happy with these. I have not done much riding in the rain, but i have left the bike in the rain for days. The gear stayed dry. I am looking forward to the big trip. My only concern is the exhaust melting the bag. I thought about heat tape but ended up having a primitive heat shield made. (Posted on 8/11/2015)
