At 28" long this bag can hold a decently large tent like the Redverz I have as well as other stuff like Kermit chair, sleeping bag & bed roll.
My panniers & top box are unable to fit longer items but by strapping this to the rear seat I'm all set for camping.

I'm using the 48" - 60" Rok Straps and the bag seems very secure on my bike.

On the ST1300 the bag does not stick out any further than the panniers that it is above or the handle bars or engine guards - my bike is no wider with this bag than without.

I've ridding in heavy rain and everything in the bag was still nice & dry.

Other bags of this capacity are available but this one seems very well made and durable and waterproof. I doubt that you would find a better bag for this price level. (Posted on 12/30/14)

I purchased this bag over a month ago and have only recently used it in conjunction with our trip to Colorado. The bag worked superbly to contain and protect our clothing even after being caught in a couple brief downpours. The tie down straps I purchased with my order worked perfectly to attach the bag over my rear seat on the BMW 1200GS using the bike's attachment loops beneath the seat. My only disappointment is the roll up strip (an encased hard plastic or nylon strip) was discovered to be broken mid way between ends just prior to our trip. I had not looked at it that carefully when I received it, but I suspect it may have fractured when it was packaged for shipping. At the time of discovery, we were packing to leave and I had not the opportunity to bring it to the attention of the folks at Twisted Throttle to see if any warranty covered the damaged bag.
