Givi crashbars are designed to protect the engine in the event of a tip over or mild crash. Constructed of 1" diameter mild steel, black finish.

In order to install this item on the North American Transalp model you must purchase the following additional items:
- one M8x130mm, grade 8.8, 1.25 thread pitch hex bolt (available from Bolt Depot, part 6237)
- one M8 grade 8.8, 1.25 thread pitch nylock nut (available from Bolt Depot, part 4806)
The total cost of these items is about $2 plus shipping.
