The risers are placed between the fork crown and the handlebars to raise the bars up 1 " (25mm) and back 1/2 " (12.5mm). This will help to relieve wrist and neck pain on long rides. Requires no change of any control cables, wiring, or hoses.

These risers do not fit '01-'05 model. For those that to, see SW-MOTECH handlebar risers (Yamaha FJR1300, '01-'05) - pair.

Made of machined aluminum. Powdercoated silver finish.

NOTE: To install this riser set you will need to remove the steering stem nut which requires a 36mm socket.

Shopped around and TT had the best deal going. Shipped fast, packed well, and fit right. Great deal! (Posted on 5/16/16)

These risers did decrease back pain considerably. Even with my limited wrenching ability I was able to install, but besides the 36mm socket you also need 2 19mm sockets and ratchets so be prepared. The instructions aren't the greatest and don't come with the risers, you must download. A great value considering the cost of other's out there. (Posted on 5/15/16)

I have a 2013 FJR. Got a basic torque wrench at Can Tire for $25 and a 36mm socket for $30. You will need to take the pressure off the front tire when on the center stand. I am not mechanically inclined! Took all of 2 hours. Just follow the instructions. Love the fact that I did this myself. I used the factory distance setting closest to the rider. I'm about 5'9.5" tall and the difference is amazing. The riding position is perfect. Great product, the instructions were clear and near perfect. They left out the part that you need a trained gorilla to loosen the steering stem nut. Had to duct tape an extension to my socket wrench for leverage, but got it off. And the service from Twisted Throttle: excellent. (Posted on 5/5/16)

Excellent quality, very happy with the result. Took about 1 hour, easy to fit. As a hint, stuff a rag in the frame aperture under the left side mounting point. If you drop the smaller nut it will disappear into the frame - and I mean disappear! (Posted on 5/2/16)

Wanted a slightly higher handlebar height to help relieve pressure on my throttle hand wrist. These definitely help. I'm really glad I bought them. (Posted on 2/23/16)

I wish I had done this sooner. Great addition to the bike. Makes the riding position more comfortable for me. Did not take that long read the instructions and it goes well. Make sure you have the 36mm socket and torque wrenches. Great benefit for this DIY (Posted on 1/14/16)

Overall I am happy with it. Tip: stuff a rag underneath the handlebars while installing the washers/nuts in case you drop one. (Posted on 5/26/15)

Way cheaper than the motorad plate and helibars out there. Most difficult part was having to remove the wire looms/triple tree but that was is. These enabled you to move them into 3 different positions. (Posted on 3/15/15)
