How to re-sync your Coocase iLoc remote control to your V28, V36, or S48 Coocase topcase

Posted on July 15, 2010 by TwistedThrottle.com There have been 0 comments

If you've replaced your batteries in your Coocase remote or replaced the remote itself, you may need to re-sync it. This article explains how.

Step 1 - locate the iLoc unit inside the rear of the topcase

Step 2 - differentiate the Reset Button from the Alarm Sensitivity Dial

"A" is the Reset Button (located on the brake side of the iLoc)

"B" is the Alarm Sensitivity Dial (located on the clutch side of the iLoc)

Turn dial left (counterclockwise) to decrease alarm sensitivity.

Turning all the way counterclockwise disables the alarm.

Turn dial right (clockwise) to increase alarm sensitivity.

Step 3 - Hold the Reset Button (button "A") until it beeps (approximately eight seconds). This indicates that the memory is cleared. You can now synchronize up to two remote controls to the iLoc.

Step 4 - Hold the reset button until it beeps (approximately two seconds), then hold either button on the remote control until a beep is heard on the iLoc. The remote is now synchronized.

Warning: Unnecessarily pressing the reset button will cause your remote control to become unsynchronized with the iLoc system.
