Kawasaki Versys ('07-'12) - SW-MOTECH Crashbar Installation Tutorial

Here we have an article on installing SW_MOTECH crashbars on a Kawasaki Versys.

It is of his installation of the SW-MOTECH Crashbars on his Kawasaki Versys. Click on the images for a larger view.
1] Here is the complete SW-MOTECH Crashbar Kit SBL.08.508.100 laid out
2] The rear lower engine mount nut is on the right side next to the sight glass
3] Once you have remove the nut walk around to the left side of the bike and pull the bolt out
4] Upper Left mount was next, Warning remove all the plastic I was being lazy, you have to remove the plastics in the end anyways.
5] A better look at the instructions, quite easy to follow
6] Frame Protector for the U-Bolt
7]Don't forget to put the cap on!
8] Set came with the warning label "Use the longer bolt supplied" Don't forget the spacer between the engine and the guard
9 ]Front mount is next
10] Then the U bolt around the frame
11] Another shot of the U bolt
12] Torque Wrench is required for this job. Recommend Fronts Left & Right first then the Rear Engine Mount Then the u-bolts
13] Plastic off of the right side
14] Rear right side spacer
15] Right side on
