I have ridden motorcycles for over forty years and through the years I have experienced many different windscreens. On my '08 Ninja 650R, I have tried both the Laminar Lip and the Zero Gravity Sport Touring Windscreen, with about the same wind blast and bobble head effect as the stock wind screen. In April I ordered a litany of parts from TT. I live in Montreal but asked to have parts shipped to Florida so that family could bring it here with them and avoid duty, taxes and brokerage fees - also taking advantage of free shipping on the largest item (to the lower 48). Time was of the essence as the family members were leaving in 12 days. 9 days later, nothing had arrived. When I called to find out what was going on, it was explained that one product was on b/o and it was holding up shipping. I explained the situation and that shipping on much of my order should be free to the lower 48, but that if it was not there in 2 days, it had to come to Canada. They assured me it would be shipped out - next day air - at their cost, and apologized for the mix up. They were not concerned with why there was a mix up, or if I had not been clear about shipping needs; they just wanted to resolve the problem. I call that great customer service! I recommend them highly and will order from them again! Many thanks guys!!!

About a month ago I ordered a few things from TT, spoke with a guy over there who rides a KLR and knew his stuff. Needless to say soon enough my stuff came in, one of which was a bags connection drybag. Now I didn't open it right away because i had a lot going on and didn't need it right then. Yesterday 4-30 I opened the box to find i was missing some straps to strap the bagto the bike. Ok i think, well i guess I'll email them and see if i get a reply.
I sent the email at 830pm yesterday here it is next day 5-1, and I get a reply email at 430pm from a fella named Nick saying everything is all set and the parts are in the mail. :nice: no fuss no mess no hassle Now that is great customer service, mistakes happen at every company, but correcting those mistakes is what seperates the good guys from the ones just out to make money. I'm taking a few minutes to show my appreciation for the unique range
of products and "personal" service that you guys have put together.

Until very recently I had a Ninja 650R that I purchased an MRA
TouringScreen for last winter. The bike was great, the windscreen was
great, but on March 3rd of this year I was sitting on a new '08 Honda
VFR800 Interceptor - a super nice bike indeed. Within a few weeks I
ordered a pair of GIVI V35 side cases and an MRA VarioTouringScreen
from Twisted Throttle. Those two items, along with taller handlebars
and a Sargent seat have allowed me to accumulate nearly 5,500 miles in
a bit less than 2 months in total comfortable riding bliss. You all
know the feeling.

I have my eye on a few more items: The Bags-Connection RearBag and
Daypack II tank bag; SW-MOTECH mirror wideners; and maybe a Kaoko
throttle lock. I can say with a straight face that every item I have
purchased, seen on the website, or come across in person is of obvious
high quality and purposeful design. GIVI, MRA, Pelican, GSG-Moto,
MFW, SW-MOTECH, Bags-Connection, RAM -- these are brands devoted to
guys like myself, who bitch endlessly over inferior motorcycle parts!

Hey I just wanted to say I wish every company had your customer service. You guys are awesome about getting back to me about my questions. I am eagerly awaiting the lighting bar when it is completed. On another note, I was wondering if anyone had asked about making better heelguards for the tiger. I have burnt two pairs of pants right at the cuff on the hot pipe right at the heel guard and I feel the stock heelguards are inadequate. I don't know of anyone that makes a bigger set. Hi all!

I have been meaning to write to you regarding my first time experience with your company. On Monday May 12th, I called and ordered and MRA Touring Screen for my Rex. I paid to have it 2 day Aired to my brother's house in Columbus,Ohio, where I was leaving for a week long trip to Suches, GA via a lot of twisty roads!

On Wednesday the shield never arrived, and 2 voice mail messages went unanswered.

On Thursday night I was finally able to check my messages after 9 hours in the saddle and recived Brian's message apologizing for the problem and letting me know that unfortunately the Screen never shipped. I returned his message stating that I would appreciate it if he would overnight the Screen to T.W.O. Motorcycle Resort in Suches, GA. Of course it was after hours so I had no way of knowing how it would be handled.

Friday afternoon around 5:15 I was able to check my messages and there was a message from Brian stating that overnighting the Screen wouldn't be a problem, but that there was one more thing he needed to talk to me about, as long as I called before 4:30. Of course I missed the cutoff, but called back to see what was going on. Brian told me that the problem was that the Touring screen had never been immediately available, so he went ahead and sent me the more expensive Vario Touring screen instead, and it would arrive in GA on Saturday.

I just wanted to let you know how impressed I was with Brian. Even though contact was sporadic, he stayed on top of everything and went above and beyond to make sure the situation was resolved. I made sure that everyone I talked to at TWO knew how impressed I was and highly recommended Twisted Throttle. Of course anyone would appreciate the "more expensive" product, but that was not what really shaped my opinion, it was the level of concern and personal responsibility that Brian showed when dealing with the problem.

I am the General Manager of a large automotive shop, and I understand that some situations can get out of control. The real measure of a company is how they handle a problem, and Twisted Throttle showed me that they understand what it's like to be a motorcyclist and I am very thankful for all that was done for me. I posted a story of my experiences and my recommendations on www.zrxoa.com, but wanted to make sure you knew how I felt personally.

Your SW-MOTECH crash bars for the KLR650A came in yesterday, well packaged and fast. Everything was in the box as well as a very well made up catalog. The SW-MOTECH Crash bars they went on with out much trouble. I was quite taken that the holes lined up so well. Install time was only hampered by the time I spent trying to convert Newtons into foot lbs. per. sq. inch (not listed on German print). The time spent removing the gas tank to locate the mounting hole was well worth it. The bars look great on the bike, not way overdone and bulky like others I have seen. And using the standard frame holes is a better looking install than U clamps like others.

The bars look like they give good coverage for all the easy-to-damage parts without blocking things you might need to get to fast. Welds are nicely done and the bars have a very good paint job as well. Price was good, and the customer service person and delivery were fantastic!

Install time was well over two hours, I take my good old time doing things right, but most of that time was with the KLR Gas tank and Locktighting everything. Thanks!

I just wanted to thank Twisted Throttle for having great customer service. I recently ordered the SW Motech Daypack II, bottom ring, and map holder. When the goodies arrived, the hardware which attaches the bag to the top ring and the spring lock pin were missing. Luckily I have the original Daypack on my FZ (the bag is 3 yrs old w/ 22K miles and still in one piece other than a zipper which recently began acting up) and I remembered what parts are supposed to be included rather than being totally baffled.

I immediately called your office (I forget who I talked to) and explained what I was missing. The guy shipped the hardware the same day and without any hassles. I half-expected to be told to contact the manufacturer like some other online outfits would have said. In a time when most online dealers don't want to hear about problems or take steps to fix them, Twisted Throttle came through. Awesome customer service turned what could have been an aggravating situation for me into a very minor thing. I've bought a fair amount of stuff from Twisted Throttle and will continue to do so. This story is so good I had to give props to Twisted Throttle for coming through. I have been planning a trip to maritime Canada for several weeks now, but of course all the gear to get my DL1000 V-Strom ready comes the day before i am supposed to leave, no thanks to my procrastination.

So I am at my garage, which living in an urban area is 8 blocks from my apt, scrambling to get everything on, exhaust, aux lights, new cowl, light bar, SW-Motech engine guard and skid plate. I grab the engine guard and start screwing it in and notice it fits all wonky. I look at the directions and read DL650. Damn! Wrong engine guard and I am leaving tomorrow and its friggin 6:09pm - no way Twisted Throttle is still open. I grab the Twisted Throttle catalog, the one that comes with every order no matter how small so there is one for the coffee table, the bed-side table, the john, the garage etc. The catalog states they are open til 6:30, F-Yeah! Where is my phone?! Back at the apt! I hop on the KTM race home get phone, bathroom catalog and dial. 6:18pm Eric at Twisted Throttle answers, probably has his jacket on ready to leave. I dish him my dilemma. He says that the UPS pick had been by at 4pm but that he would make some calls and get back to me.

So 10 minutes later, back at the garage, i get a phone call from Josh of Twisted Throttle, saying one of their guys with a KLR650 and package bungied to the bike set off to chase the departing UPS truck. Then 10 min later Eric calls to follow-up, the guy with the KLR caught the UPS truck and i'd be getting my engine guard tomorrow. NO CHARGE for shipping overnight!!

Come on!! Service does not exceed what the Prince's of the adventure moto parts world did for me!! Thanks Twisted Throttle I will sing your praises til i am 6 ft under!!

I was very excited to find the Hepco-Becker crashbars/engine guards in your catalog for my '96 Triumph Adventurer. The price was right, they were easy to install, and they actually enhance the look of the bike while adding protection to delicate parts. (sku: 501.701.0002). I'd looked around for quite a while to find these, until I found Twisted Throttle. Delivery: They did not arrive with the first part of my order, which prompted me to call Customer Service. Customer Service was very pleasant to work with, offered a reasonable reason as to why they weren't yet shipped (my other items were from a different supplier), promised to call me back after finding out the status -- and then did call me, promptly! It was a great customer experience, actually, and the crash bars were delivered shortly thereafter. I also ordered a Bags-Connection Rearbag (sku: BCK.RB4021), and it works like a dream with my bike and looks great. I used it a lot this last weekend. It secures very nicely, and the backpack feature was very handy. Seems to fit a lot more inside than you'd imagine. I'm keeping Twisted Throttle high on my "favorites" list - thanks!

On Tuesday last week, I placed on online order with them for a pair of Hepco-Becker 30L bags and side racks for a Moto Guzzi Jackal. This is a rare bike that Guzzi only made from 1999-2001 and has its own unique rack configuration due to different footpeg mounts. I figured they'd have to special order everything from Germany and then ship in 3-4 weeks minimum.

Instead, I received a shipment notification with tracking number on Friday. They will arrive Tuesday of this week!! Fast!!!

Here's a story about Twisted Throttle:

I ordered some SW-Motech racks for my Strom. They came when they were supposed to, but I received two left side racks. I called Twisted Throttle, and they were concerned and sent out a right side rack while I returned the extra left. Got it in two days but it was another left side. I'm now 48 hrs from the beginning of a trip to Newfoundland and I tell them the problem. Guy on the phone is baffled and tells me to hang on while he walks out to the warehouse floor and manually inspects a set of racks to make sure he has a right siderack. Turns out SW-Motech had mispacked/mislabeled a bunch of left sideracks as right sideracks. He overnighted a real right siderack to me with apologies for the inconvenience and all was well. Started the trip a few hours late, no biggie.

In an age where the internet and voicemail add distance between the vendor and the customer, Twisted Throttle always had a human being for me to talk to during business hours. They were respectful, helpful, and genuinely concerned for my deadlines (which were self imposed and not their problem). They did a nice job and I would buy there again tomorrow. Give them the business if you have a choice.

The MRA double-bubble racing windscreen for the Yamaha R6 is a great accessory. Workmanship is nice and it took about 25 minutes to install with no fitting problems.
It provides significantly more protection than the Zero Gravity double bubble windshield that I had on prior. It deflects the wind higher and wider giving a larger quiet zone which becomes more obvious as speeds increase through triple digits. A nice piece of kit. Lastly, it even looks good!
