I ordered two sets of Touring Oxford Heaterz. When I installed the first set I was surprised that I hag to cut the throttle side but not the clutch side. Then when I installed the set on my wife's bike I didn't have to cut either side. That's when I noticed that the throttle side grip on my bike was actually an adventure model. The grip pattern is different and it is slightly longer than the touring model. Be sure to check for this before you start cutting and gluing.

Otherwise the grips are great. (Posted on 4/12/16)

great product. just hook to the battery and it shuts off when the bike starts. only flaw is the lowest setting should be lower. also to install, hook them up, start the bike ad put them on high, when good and hot they will slide on easily. this is critical on the 2015 Kawasaki Versys 1000. it's bars are about 30 thousands too big.
this is my third bike to have these. (Posted on 2/19/16)

So far so good. Very easy install and far less expensive than the OEM add-on's. Included bracket fit perfectly. (Posted on 1/19/16)

I installed these grips on my Can-Am Outlander 1000, which I have a twist throttle on. I finally was able to go for a ride yesterday. The temps was -1F when I left the truck and along with the Oxford Bone Dry Muffs, my hands stayed toasty. Later I got stuck in the snow & had to do a lot of digging, and my leather work gloves became soaked. The Oxford Heaterz Grips kept my hands & fingers nice and warm & even dried out the gloves. What a great product !! (Posted on 1/19/16)

This is the 2nd bike that have purchased & installed these grips. These are so easy of an installation you really don't even need to look at the instructions, really.
Two grips, labeled right & left one larger to fit over the throttle sleeve, so you can't install the wrong one. Each Grip has a significant length of cable for any type of routing issues you may run into & the have a connector that snaps into the controller. The controller comes with a basic little bracket to help mount this on any standard handlebar mount, hardware included. The controller comes hard wired with two (positive & neg) battery connections. really is a simple install. the hardest thing might be removing the old grips.
& they really do work great! Will buy again for my next bike.

ps, fyi they have different grip types(which i wasn't aware of) I accidentally purchased the SPORT version & not the Softer Touring version. Just wanted to make everyone aware of the options. (Posted on 12/10/15)

Amazingly fast shipping from Twisted Throttle.
Absolutely everything you need to install the heated grips is included.
Installation is quick and easy...the longest part of the installation was determining how to hide the cabling between the grips and the battery and, maybe, where to put the controller (two options are provided).
The grips heat-up perfectly and the components appear to be high quality. They turn off automatically when the bike is shut-off in case you forget.
I would recommend hand guards to keep the wind off the back of your hands. (Posted on 11/25/15)

Installed these on 2014 Brammo Empulse. Followed the directions and had no problems. The most difficult part was sanding and smoothing down the throttle tube so the grip could slide on.

Side note: Since these are connected to a DC/DC converter and not a battery, I had to disable the "batter saver" function (it's in the manual) to keep them from turning off while riding. (Posted on 11/23/15)

I bought this product around Christmas of 2014 and was pretty excited after reading all the great reviews. I guess I got the lemon in the bunch because at best ( when it is turned on 100% ) mine only get lukewarm. I am really disappointed and don't know what to do. What a let down this has been. Had the product heated as expected I would have rated it much higher in the quality and value areas. (Posted on 3/27/15)

My fiancee love the heated grips! Wish we would have installed them when she first got her FZ6R. Very easy to install, recommend installing a fuse block. Grips will shut themselves off after a few minutes but it's added security to prevent being stranded. (Posted on 3/22/15)

I was very impressed with the high quality of the actual grips, the controller, wiring and connectors.

The actual installation on a Honda VFR1200 was straight forward but did take about 5 hours. It was necessary to remove any old glue and paint from the handlebars and burrs on the inside of the grips. I am very pleased with the final installation.

They grips work great, providing lots of heat with good control. The auto-shutoff feature seems very reliable.

I would definitely recommend these heated grips. (Posted on 10/4/14)

Installed on a 2013 V-Strom 650 - they work great although it hasn't been below 50 degrees in the mornings so I only have run them on the lowest setting. One plus is that I like the grips themselves better than the stock items. There are videos on youtube on how to install them. One warning - be sure to cover your tank to protect it from the superglue and leave it there overnight. I didn't and found where the glue had dripped out. I had to use a little acetone to get it off. These heated grips work really well, the best I have ever owned. Hard but I did not notice that when riding. Controls are easy to use even with gloves on. Indicators are easy to read even in bright sunlight.

For Triumph owners - clutch side mounted with no issues. Had to take a Dremel tool to grind off the wings on the throttle side. I suggest using glass cleaner if you dry fit. Mounting bracket did not fit on my bike so I ordered the Denali Clamp-On Switch Mount For 7/8 Inch Handlebars, worked perfectly. (Posted on 12/27/13)
