A drop can be either a great story or an expensive experience that could leave you stranded. Keep the odds in favor of great stories with the protection and good looks of the R&G Aero Style Frame Sliders.

R&G Aero Style Front Frame Sliders help protect the frame, fairing, motor and radiator from damage in the event of a drop or crash.

  • No modifications to the fairing or bodywork is necessary.
  • Stylish and aerodynamic teardrop shaped bobbins.
  • Removable end caps to hide fittings.
  • High-density durable and replaceable nylon bobbins.
  • High-tensile steel bolts are de-embrittled to bend rather than snap upon impact.
  • Used by the some of the worlds top race teams.

The protector itself is machined from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) – chosen because as it wears it actually helps to slow a sliding bike. The bolts used are also de-embrittled steel; working as a shock absorber to bend instead of snapping or staying rigid - which could twist the mounting point.

I wanted protection for a tip over/ or worse. Looked around and decided on the R&G Aero Frame Sliders. I think they blend well with the look of the FZ-09, and they are very easy to install. When Twisted Throttle came up as a vendor I placed my order with confidence. I've seen them at Americade for a couple of years and they are first class. Very happy with product and service!!!! Went down at about 30mph. I have the Aero sliders and the rear axle protectors. They took a beating but the bike survived with minimal scratches and i was able to ride home. So yeah they definitely work. (Posted on 6/14/2015)

they look nice but they also don't stick far enough to protect the bike if it went down (Posted on 2/16/2015)
