I purchased these to increase visibility, they work very well. The installation was easy and straight forward. (Posted on 5/2/16)

I read a post in a BMW K-bike forum a year ago, that stated that you know you have enough light on your bike, when a deer jumps in front of your high beam and is instantly vaporized.
The author suggested a pair of Denali D2.
I bough a set and was one happy biker.
Easy to install and lots of light.
Now, after a year, I decided to add another pair. My bike is an old police bike and had a pair of convenient holes in the fairing where the blue blinking lights were attached ( Considered a pair of those and decided against it..........tempting, though!)
4 Denalis is still not a noticeable drain on a 700 watt generator and, man, do the car drivers see me now!
Can't quite vaporize a deer, but I can make their fur smoke a bit.

If you are afraid of ending your days stuck inthe side of a little old lady's car, because she " Simply didn't see you" and just pulled out in front of you, I recommend getting a pair of D2s.
Funny thing is, I asked my mechanic to install them for me, when he had the bike apart for spring maintenance anyway. He asked me if I could order him a set as part of the payment.
Haven ridden my bike at night with the two sets on it, he was hooked.

Less than a year old and one of the lights is starting to flicker from a connection inside the lamp. I know this because it flickers when the bike is running and if I grab the lamp to dampen the vibration coming from the 2015 KLR, the flicker goes away. If it was at the battery, the flicker wouldn't change. So, not the greatest manufacturing process. Also, one of the lamp's setscrew stripped the aluminum. You have to be very careful to not overtighten these because the aluminum is soft. It's a balance between not being tight enough and risking it coming loose or overtightening and stripping the aluminum.
As far as the light goes - simply awesome. It's like daytime at night with these. The high-beam / low-beam wiring is great too. Works perfectly with my headlight switch.
For the price I expected better materials to be used in manufacturing, but the performance is top notch. I didn't abuse these either. The bike only has 1,300 miles on it and the lights only have about 1,000 on them.
Don't know if I would buy these again. The under fender mounting bracket is killer though. If you've got a KLR, get the bracket regardless of who's lights you use. (Posted on 1/28/16)

Great lights, good quality... BUT, do not buy these for the KTM 1290SA. The Dual beam will not work. When hooked into the normal lights to get low/high beam functionality the on board computer senses the extra load and causes a fault! So they are not hooked up to high beam only... good lights but I could have saved money by getting a single beam version.... Just a warning to KTM owners. (Posted on 11/13/15)

I used the dual-intensity set-up to wire these lights to a Triumph Tiger 800 XCX. Once I'd figured out the complexities of Triumph's wiring harness, installation was straight-forward and problem free! The lights are superb - adding brilliant light at night and amazing day-time visibility. The quality of the lights, the mount and harness are first-rate with real attention to detail and quality construction. I'm using the spot-light lens at the moment. I haven't tried the fog-light fitting yet. All in all, I really happy with these lights - they do exactly what I was hoping for and more! The outstanding service from Twisted Throttle only added to a great experience! (Posted on 8/11/15)

These lights are are great product. They work fantastic on my 650 V Strom, really lighting up the bush nicely. Bit of a fiddle connecting to wiring harness under the tank but once done it all looks and works really well. (Posted on 8/11/15)

Last night was my first night ride with the D2's installed. They difference is simply amazing. I have tried Halogen driving lights ($35 to $90 per pair), and a set of HID driving lights ($240 per pair) and now the D2's. I have a clear cut winner in the D2 lights.
Construction is top rate with quality connectors and wiring. The lamps and housings and hardware are also top quality. You get everything you need for a basic installation.
And once installed be prepared to light up the night.
Mine are wired to switch intensity when switching from low to high beam or back. I can of course turn them off if I choose. There is no lag when switching like with the HID lights I replaced. These lamps have less power draw which was a major consideration with the charging system of my old school bagger. And simply put they over power my PIAA high intensity plasma headlight when on full power. It is simply amazing. (Posted on 6/16/15)

Just finished the installation on my KTM 1190. I used the SW Motech bracket for the 1190 and the Denali D2 lights. I was able to install everything myself following the installation documents and watching YouTube videos of how to remove all the plastic trim on the 1190. The lights and mount look great! I'm very happy with the product. The on/off switch looks pretty cheap, I hope it's water proof... but it doesn't look like it is. Also, check your kit! Mine was missing one of the two M3x20 screws needed to hold the lights in their housing. This M3x20 hex screw is hard to find and without it you're screwed : ( I ended up finding a replacement at Pacific Fasteners, and I'm good now. (Posted on 5/6/15)

The Hawk light mount bracket set is very nice. All of the harness plugs end up in the perfect spots for a sano installation. Connected for dual intensity. The blue 100% intensity wire can not be connected to the high beam bulb wire because the high intensity will flicker badly. Use the high beam wire to power a simple 2 circuit, 4 prong relay and use the red/black 15 power wire ( power with key on) to power the blue D2 harness wire via the relay. This isolates the power form the head lamp high beam bulb which gets its power from the electrical system control module. Also connect the white D2 harness wire to the red/black terminal 15 power wire ahead of the relay. This all can be done and fits behind the head lamp. Twisted Throttle did not seem to know what to do. This installation is for a 2014 KTM 1190 ADVENTURE. These lamps are very bright ! Bad news is all body work and tank must be removed. Good news is no flicker no more. The reliability remains to be determined. (Posted on 3/17/15)
