I dropped the bike once on the right side. These protected the brittle plasting. Nothing broke.Rating
I crashed yesterday hitting the tailgate of a truck with the barkbusters. These kept any of the plastic from breaking. Additionally, my fingers were protected by them. Without the barkbusters, my fingers would have been pinned by the truck. The barkbusters didn't even deform.
