Kindergartenly easy installation! But beware if you order the fender mounting kit for you CB500X, they say the kit for the NC700X is the same, but the bolts are too short, you will have to find longer (Home Depot). Other than that, they work great. (Posted on 10/15/14)

Very bright, though tiny. Simple to install (if you can find a switched 12-volt power source quickly). I installed it on the front forks, so the lights turn in the direction I'm turing. (Posted on 9/19/14)

I mounted the DMs to a F650cs above the turn signals. It makes the bike much more visible in traffic; I see a difference in the space other drivers allow me. I am using the wide lens with them aimed slightly outward; I get good shoulder and turn lighting. At first look the kit was daunting, but the plugs and wiring is well thought out and worked well on my bike. The quality of every part is tops. You will need more cable ties than included. I bought the DM micro singles after riding with other tour bike throught all kind of weather conditions and was impress with the ability to locate the bike following in my mirror by simplly watching for the lights. The overall quality of the lights and wire harness was second to none! (Posted on 8/7/14)

I was tired of the weak light in the regular headlight during nightrides - but now that I got the Denali installed on my bike, I can see a lot more of the road and the surroundings!
These are very good lights indeed! (Posted on 8/6/14)

I bought these to attach to my 2012 BMW F800gs using the fork mount. I love the size and the way they look. They out out enough light to help out at night, but I primarily have used them to help me be seen during the day. Super easy to install. (Posted on 7/28/14)

This is my third -- I've put a set on each bike I've owned. The difference these lights make in visibility is tremendous. I would not ride without these lights. (Posted on 7/11/14)

I replaced PIAA 1100X lamps with the Denali DM1 “Micro” LEDs, mainly to increase clearance to front fender. I have them mounted under my oil cooler, on my BMW R1100RT, and have encountered a few touches during high-speed dips. Reducing load from 110W to 10W, was not a big concern, but may help improve gas mileage.
In side-by-side comparison, the LEDs are very similar, with only slightly less range and spread (with 25° lens) then PIAAs. Viewed head-on they are again very similar, but are less visible perpendicular to bike, since LED lens is recessed.
I use them mainly for daytime running lights, and at night to increase low beam spread; so I have them aimed down and to the sides a little. Probably not as good as PIAAs for high beam range, but LEDs have longer range then my standard H4 halogen low beam.
Construction seems to be top notch, but I found that the M6x20mm mounting bolts were not long enough to fully engage locknut for M8 mount; so I replaced them with M6x25mm bolts. Wiring harness is very robust, with the wire gage probably intended to also handle other lamps with higher loads. (Posted on 7/7/14)

These lights are great. I put them on my KLR, and am amazed at the additional visibility. Thanks! (Posted on 7/7/14)

These "bullets" are good for adding some light for night driving, but they really excel as daytime running lights. On the side of the box, it shows that the bigger, brighter lights in the Denali lineup such as the DX throw much more light down the road at night, but due to the bigger lens, these smaller DM1's are actually more visible in daytime. I believe that is due to their concentrated, super-bright lens. On my bike I actually added both --- the DM1's on the fender, to turn as the bike turns, and the bigger DXs to really give me more reaction time at night.

I think the other reason you might want to get the DM1s is that they are nice and compact, so they would mount under a fairing or tucked away in some other front-facing spot if you like a tidy look.

There are a LOT of mounting options, for M5, M6 bolts, a fender kit, and crash bars. Also I was glad I ordered the Denali Powerblock 2 --especially if you are hooking up multiple lights it makes patching everything together much easier.

I haven't found any negatives. One thing to consider, these lights are single intensity only. (Posted on 7/7/14)
