I already have the side panniers in my xt1200z, and now the top case, motech accesories are very resistent, good quality materials, and easy to mount or install.
100% waterproof
Locks could be better
Keys are not the best in class
Overall 8/10 (Posted on 7/4/15)

Item came fast, quality was great. However, when I look at the instructions, it seems that there is an item missing, so I am not able to put the box on my bike.

Since the items were group together, I assumed that everything I need to put in on the bike is included.

However, there seems to be a bottom hinge missing (the part there the bottom buckle of the box locks onto the rack) so I will need to source that from somewhere locally. (Posted on 6/16/15)

Acquired this piece to complete a set with the Suzuki factory hard cases (made by TraX). This top case is solid and functional beyond it's intended design--I mounted my extra gallon fuel container to it and it carries it easily. The Trax top case is also surprisingly water resistant. It takes on no water in light to moderate rain of short duration. Some moisture does get through the top seals when ridden for long periods in moderate rain, but the included water-tight inner bag liner keeps the contents dry. This top case is everything I expected and more. My only wish is that it were 41 liters, rather than 38, but we always want more, don't we? (Posted on 4/27/15)

This worked out great for my 2014 Ducati Diavel Strada - no mount for my Strada is available so I had to make one out of a 1/4 inch steel plate and then I used the universal plate to attach the top box to it. had the whole thing sand blasted and powder coated in gloss black. Nice. (Posted on 4/19/15)

In spite of the IKEA-like directions for installing the adapter plate, the topcase itself is great. Looks good, feels sturdy while riding, and plenty of room for a full-face helmet and additional stuff. The included dry bag is a nice extra. (Posted on 7/17/14)

The SW-Motech system is cool, I love this top box, it fits my needs well, though I didn't save much by not buying OEM.

Pros:
It comfortably fits my giant cheap XL helmet, gloves, rags and tool kit with room to spare. The boxy shape makes it seem less "scootery" than other models. Also this box (and my bike specific mount) is very sturdy and I can easily trust it to stay on at high speed and stay secure enough to make the thief walk past my bike for an easier target.

Cons:
Everything is a la carte with SW-Motech and Twisted Throttle in America. To get this box on your bike, you need the bike specific rack, adapter plate, locks and keys, and top box, all sold separately. Figuring this out and paying for each part of the whole is a pain to figure out and ends up being pricey. Don't get me started on the side cases (they're sold separately as if anyone just wants to put on one pannier). The keys suck, you get a tiny metal part that goes in the lock, it sticks out of a plastic bit that juts out at a right angle from the metal bit with the hole to go on your key ring. That would only be moderately annoying if the plastic wasn't so thin in one part that I broke it putting it on my key ring. That was an easy fix though, a quick trip to the locksmith, and a couple dollars got me two proper all metal keys that fit.

All included I'm happy with my purchase, The SW-Motech alu box is really practical and looks great, and the key issue is quite easily overcome. (Posted on 7/7/14)
