I have put a a little over 600 miles with the jacket now in temperatures ranging from the mid thirties to the 70's on both a sport bike and a bmw rt 1150 and the jacket is amazing. I tried on other jackets from Klim, Alpinestar, and BMW motard that cost much more and I do not think they are as good, or have all of the features as the Macna Geo.Rating
The jacket fits like a European jacket should-snug. I am 5.11 and 175 pounds and the large is a perfect fit. The layering system (outer shell, inner quilted liner and rain barrier) works well and there is a lot of little bonuses such as the material the collar is made out of that seals out the wind or the neopreme part that goes over your throat, the fleece lined outer pockets, the seam sealed zipper that blocks the wind... I have not had it in the rain yet, but if it seals out the rain as well as it seals out the wind it will not be a problem. I was always cold on chilly days and never thought a jacket could seal out the wind and cold this well, but it does (Ok I sound like a commercial, but it is really surprising).
The armor is well placed and the extra layer of durable material over the impact zones is a bonus.
Bottom line, Buy it! you will not regret it!! (Posted on 2/5/13)
