I have had the SENA SMH10 intercom twin set for about 3 weeks now. As with all electronics equipment utilizing Bluetooth technology, there are some quirks to get around. But, the quirks are a result of not really studying up and knowing what to do. The manuals provided are pretty simple to understand if you are a tech-type person. Nevertheless, some trial and error and experimentation is involved in learning to use the units. The intercom aspect is simple and straightforward. The sound clarity is really great! Pairing the SENA to my Android phone is simple as well. Pairing to my Garmin Zumo is pretty easy as well. If one follows the instructions carefully, you can actually pair the phone to the SENA and the Zumo to the Sena by using multipoint-pairing. This process is where it gets complicated. I have decided it would be best to pair the Zumo to the SENA first, then pair the phone to the Zumo. This way I can listen to my music off the MP3 on the Zumo, hear voice instructions, and let my Zumo control the phone calls. As a retired band director and very critical of sound, I give the sound clarity of this unit a 10 out of a possible 10. I highly recommend this product to anyone wanting a reasonably priced intercom system for riding. I look forward to learning the other aspects of this product! (Posted on 10/6/14)
