Constructed of 26.9mm outer-diameter heavy-duty mild steel, SW-MOTECH crashbars are designed to provide maximum protection, optical integration, and high-quality fit and finish.
Note: Diameter of lower portion of bars (commonly used for footpeg mounting) is closer to 23.5mm.Fits:

'10 & later Versys 650 (second generation)
****Special Note: These bars will not fit the California model without removing the special emissions package, which we do not endorse. We have been told that if you have a high degree of mechanical aptitude, you can make the crashbar fit.
All components are protected against corrosion by sandblasting and powdercoating. High-strength frame mounting points. Black.

Got these bars quickly. easy to install, the directions are not the clearest, but if you study the picture its fairly clear when to mount. Takes a bit a playing with to get them on, but anybody can install them. worth the money ! and they look really nice on the bike. (Posted on 4/1/13)Rating - Review by Jason

I ordered these bars immediately after picking up my bike (Kawasaki Versys) that I dropped in my driveway.Rating
I received them a few days later and they were installed less than an hour after I opened the box. Installation was simple though the written instructions weren't all that great. The pictures help more than the words.
Installation of the crash bars has not caused any vibrations or any changes to the handling of the bike. Now I ride (and park) my bike without worrying as much about cosmetic or structural damage to the bike in the event of a spill.
