The QUICK-LOCK EVO carrier is the next generation of luggage carrier by SW-MOTECH. Same, great QUICK-LOCK design, with a more robust, tubular steel rack that has a narrower profile than the original sidecarrier! Included in this kit is a length of exhaust pipe to relocate the stock exhaust, allowing the right side carrier to be placed tight to the motorcycle.
The racks can be removed from the bike in less than 30 seconds. No special tools required. Simply turn the quick-release fasteners on each side. These black, powder-coated, tubular steel racks are compatible with luggage cases from GIVI (Monokey system), TraX ALU-BOX, Pelican, Micatech, Kappa, Shad, Hepco-Becker, Krauser, and more. Luggage-specific adapter kits are sold separately.

When using the TraX ALU-BOX on the R1200GS, we recommend using a 37-liter case on the left (muffler) side and a 37-liter or 45-liter case on the right side.

Be careful with part #16 in the kit. It has press nuts - don't install screws in a direction that pulls the press nuts out of the plate! Pull the press nuts into the plate. See photo.
An optional hard-bolt kit is available that allows you to permanently mount SW-MOTECH side luggage racks with regular steel bolts for added strength and rigidity. Recommended for rough off-road riding.
