These black, powder-coated, tubular steel racks are compatible with luggage cases from TraX ALU-BOX cases, Aero ABS Sidecase system, Hepco & Becker, Krauser, and more, as well as GIVI (Monokey system). Luggage-specific adapter kits are sold separately.
Working with Dakar Rally Rider Patrick Trahan Twisted throttle has designed a hard bolted side carrier system to compliment the Steel-Rack toprack also designed for his trip. Patrick then tested these carriers over 3,000 miles of North & Central Africa.
Required luggage-specific adapter kits are sold separately. The hard bolted racks are made of flat steel which presents the narrowest possible lateral profile. Bolt-on installation -- no cutting or welding of motorcycle frame or bodywork is necessary. Racks are designed to work with original equipment manufacturer components -- fender, exhaust, etc.
