It does the job of making the rear rack of the TR650 functional and durable. The stock, plastic passenger handles/mini-rear rack has a history of breaking without having support such as this when an aluminum/metal full-size rack is added to the plastic.

This brace/rack combo mounts to the subframe at two points - *above* the stock, plastic passenger handles/mini-rack. I have the factory Husqvarna tail bag mounted to it and it works great. I use it for the all the lighter stuff that I carry around every day. With just two mounting points, I could see how it could possibly bounce a bit if a lot of weight was put on it. But, I doubt that the metal would break; it is pretty thick. (Posted on 5/20/15)

I bought this to mount a givi top case to my TR650. It works okay, the mounting hardware is of good quality, but it mounts to the stock (plastic) rack. Even with an empty topcase, it flexes a ton and is not very secure. (Posted on 5/12/15)
