BMW K1200R with SW-MOTECH Alu-Rack toprack, SW-MOTECH sideracks, SW-MOTECH crashbars, SW-MOTECH centerstand, SW-MOTECH Engage-Touring Tankbag, and Hepco-Becker Junior sidecases.
This photo shows the included spacer in the WRONG location (between the mounting bracket and centerstand). The spacer's correct position is between the motorcycle's frame and the mounting bracket.
The must-have accessory for sport-touring! Greatly eases basic tire changes, parking, and bike cleaning. Super-strong steel construction features typical German design and high engineering standards. Superb integration with the factory exhaust and sidestand components -- retain all existing features without sacrificing lean angle or clearances.
All components are protected against corrosion by sandblasting and powdercoating. High-strength frame mounting points. Black.
Installation of any centerstand on the K1200S requires minor cutting of the lower fairing along cut-lines provided by BMW. See the photos at the bottom of this page showing the cutting template provided by SW-MOTECH and proper look of the final cut line.
Equivalent to SW-MOTECH item no. HPS.07.406.100.
Some customers have been confused regarding the necessary position of the included spacer (part No. 13). We've provided a photo on this page showing the WRONG position of the spacer (between mounting bracket No. 3 and the centerstand). The spacer's correct position is between the motorcycle's frame and mounting bracket No. 3. Please call if you have questions regarding placement of this spacer; the centerstand cannot be installed if the centerstand is in the wrong location.
We do not recommend installing centerstands on bikes with a lowered rear suspension because use on a lowered bike may result in:
- ground clearance & cornering clearance problems, and
- difficulty in lifting the lowered bike onto the centerstand.

Admin note: This is a dedicated thread for discussing the SW-MOTECH Centerstand (BMW K1200S). Went on in a couple of hours , works well , very easy to get the bike on the center stand .Excellent quality for the price. The instructions for cutting the fairing were not good enough , was the most difficult part of the installation . I interprated the lines on the the actual fairing parts.
