SW-MOTECH's highly functional and elegant toprack features a strong, integrated-looking, lightweight aluminum design. Mounts alone or with SW-MOTECH Quick-Lock sideracks (available separately). The smart, multi-functional design enables the use of a Quick-Lock adapter plate (sold separately) to carry GIVI Monokey, Kappa, Hepco & Becker, and Krauser topcases. A GIVI Monolock topcase may be mounted on the Alu-Rack using the permanent-mount adapter plate included with the Monolock case.

Installs quickly using basic hand tools. No cutting, drilling, or welding of existing motorcycle components required. The Alu-Rack has a black powder coated finish.

06.30.2011 10:41 » I agree - weak subframe Drew Gassaway
I have to agree that the Bandit subframe itself is weak and the leverage exerted by the rack's mounting angle exacerbates the issue. I have been using this rack with a 45L topcase heavily for less than a year and today I found my subframe tabs have sheared off. If you look under the seat at the grab bar you can see where this rack mounts - it is simply not designed for heavy topcase use and load. I kept my bolts snug and locktite'ed, they never came loose the subframe just broke. I rode around for a bit with my case being held on by plastic (!). The givi might be better as it does not rely completely on those subframe tabs, but also on mounting points further forward on the subframe.
