Admin note: This is a dedicated thread for discussing the Bags-Connection map holder for "Engage-Touring" and . I use this with my Vina tank bag. Its roomy enough for good map coverage, The big drawback: It's not waterproof! Bags Connection has a rain cover for its bags. The cover even has a clear plastic top. However, the cover is not sized to fit over the map holder. You can sort of force it over, but it doesn't fit well and gets in the way of seeing my GPS mounted in between the handlebars of my ST1300, and then doesn't fully cover the bags. I'm not sure what you are supposed to be looking at through the clear panel of the rain cover, because it doesn't look like you could fit a map under it. They need a waterproof map holder that will fit on top of the tank bag when it is covered by its rain cover. Either that or a different rain cover that will fit over everything.
