Admin note: This is a dedicated thread for discussing the SW-MOTECH Alu-Rack Toprack (Yamaha FZ1 / FZS1000 Fazer, '. I purchased this top rack during the summer of 2010 and so far it's been a great addition to my bike. Coupled with the 46L Givi Monokey case I've been able to carry multiple bags of groceries and a gallon of milk without problem. The rack did take me roughly 4 hours to install but can be chalked up to me being a newbie. The replacement bolts worked perfectly with the existing threads but I did have a bit of a challenge with removing the tail and juggling all the brackets and spacers on my own, so you might want to get a hand with that part of the installation. One suggestion I would make to SW-Motech would be to cut a slot in the bracket that goes underneath the tail so that you don't need to disconnect the tail lights. Otherwise a high quality piece of kit that works well with the bike and the Givi box. You won't regret buying it.
