If you're tired of seeing your own shoulders in your rearview mirrors, then these are for you! This pair of mirror wideners screw into the original mirror mount on your motorcycle heandlebars, providing a spacer between the base of the rearview mirror and the motorcycle's original mirror mount.

The height of the part itself is 38mm. The actual displacement will vary depending on the angle that the wideners are mounted onto the bike.

Fits the following bikes:

Ducati

  • Multistrada 620 & 1000DS* (extension of mirror turn signal wires may be required on 2006 & later models)
  • Monster 900, -'99 (may also fit other Monster models)

04.24.2007 08:50 » SW-Motech Mirror Wideners Do The Job! Rush Shortley
Last week I received and installed these mirror extenders on my Yamaha Majesty 400. I was skeptical that these short little items would do the job when looking at them on this web site, but decided to order them and give them a try. WOW!! What a difference! Although the maximum extension is only about 1-3/4", this is just the right distance to do the job. Bye-bye shoulders and stretching my neck out to see behind the vehicle. Without moving my head, I can now easily see directly behind the scooter from almost the back fender in both mirrors. The side view also is increased to give a better view of the adjacent lane on either side and make the "blind spot" to the rear somewhat smaller---it doesn't eliminate the need to turn your head for a quick look before pulling into the next lane. With the provided spacers installed on both sides, the clearance for the headlight control and kill switch is sufficient for a gloved thumb. The workmanship is excellent, and once the provided plastic caps are pressed into the hex opening in the cap screws, they look like they could be OEM equipment. Although the price is a bit high---$60+ with shipping---the enhanced view and safety and good looks are worth the price.
