If you're tired of seeing your own shoulders in your rearview mirrors, then these are for you! This pair of mirror wideners screw into the original mirror mount on your motorcycle handlebars, providing a spacer between the base of the rearview mirror and the motorcycle's original mirror mount.

This part has been confirmed to fit the following bikes with handlebar-mounted mirrors. The item may also fit additional bikes.

Product details:
The height of the part itself is 32mm. Included is a 6mm spacer, which brings the overall height displacement up to 38mm. The center to center displacement of the mirror widener is 40mm. The actual displacement will vary depending on the angle at which the wideners are mounted onto the bike.

I hesitated for the longest time getting these because frankly some of the pictures didn't look so flattering and I had read posts about extenders creating increased vibration of the mirrors. In reality neither of these claims could be further from the truth. These extenders were very easy to install on my 07 Triumph Tiger 1050, and their design actually blends very well with the bike; they have a strong, precise look and they aren't even noticeable when looking the bike over in person. More importantly however is that they are extremely functional and solid. I detect no additional vibration of any kind at any speed. These place the mirrors just far enough outboard that you peer see beyond your shoulders and actually see that cager creeping up on you from behind! My only grip is that my right extender has what looks to be a scratch/gouge from the tooling in the manufacturing process. Its not a huge deal and may be able to be lightly sanded, but it was kind of a bummer considering how well these are designed and built. I strongly recommend these to anyone who would like to more effectively keep an eye on their six! Another great offering from SW_MOTECH and TwistedThrottle.com!
