Admin note: This is a dedicated thread for discussing the SW-MOTECH Crashbars/Engine Guards (Triumph Tiger 1050i, '07. Good quality, solid crash bars. Look natural on bike. Fit properly. Not too confusing to install but some inside nuts in awkward postions to get to so had the dealer install and they did so for 1 hour labor. I like the bars but they are not perfect. Even though my bike is a Tiger set up for long rides and adventure touring I sometimes really hug it tight and move around alot shifting my weight to corner/shift/break treating it like a sport bike. The bars sometimes touch my inner leg. It is not painful, not impeding me from getting at the controls but sometimes a little distracting or slightly uncomfortable. Now, I am very picky about my bikes and tailoring them to fit. I think 70% of others would not even object and it is not enough of a problem that I am going to remove them. As I get used to them they are less bothersome. Next generation design this company should consider getting them a little slimmer at the point which is nearest the foot pegs and they would be great. I also ordered the highway pegs with attach to the crash bars from Twisted Throttle at the same time. They were very easy for me to install myself and are a fantastic addition to comfort on all day rides. When not in use they neatly fold in. If you get the Crash Bars and do long road trips, I highly suggest the highway pegs at the same time.
