Exercise caution when using Givi's massive 52 liter New Maxia topcase. It has been known to swallow up large pets, small children, and Piaggio scooters whole! The E52 features an innovative opening and detaching system that can be operated with only one hand. The dual brake light system (available separately) and the quality of the fit and finish make it a new standard for large-capacity luggage solutions. Available in both matte black and gloss finishes.
The E52 is equipped with an improved Monokey latch system that allows the case to be opened, closed, locked, and removed single-handedly with only one key. The case locks both closed and to the rack. This case is also available in a color-matched gloss finish which complements both sport bikes and cruisers alike. Easily holds two full-face helmets, and will hold most 17" laptop cases or medium briefcases. Compatible with Givi, Five Stars, and SW-Motech luggage racks. I purchased the E52 with the Candy Apple Red cover, the LED light kit and the back rest. I had to use the universal mounting kit, to mount to a CWI luggage rack on my 2006 Red Suzuki Boulevard S50. It's great. I was VERY surprised and VERY pleased with how close the color of the box matched the bikes color. I needed some space for carrying things back and forth to work. I'm able to put the back pack I was wearing right into the box, with room to spare. I also like that the light kit allows me to have more light visible from the rear. The SUVs have a hard time seeing my stock lights, when they get close. The light kit went in fairly easy. It now gives me running lights and brake lights. Unfortuately, the turn signals don't seem to work, like the documents say they should. I would buy it again, but would add the luggage rack too. I will be ordering the optional luggage rack to finish off the top box.
