Handlebar risers (Triumph Sprint ST 955, '01-'04 / Sprint ST 1050, '05- / Sprint RS, '00-'03)

The risers are placed between the fork crown and the handlebars to raise the bars up 1 1/4" (32mm). This will help to relieve wrist and neck pain on long rides. Does not require change of front brake hydraulic hose.

*These risers will fit the '08- Sprint ST 1050 without a problem. The stock handlebars on this bike are taller than in previous model years, but there are no clearance issues with the fairing. ABS models of the '08- Sprint ST 1050 will require a brake line extension.

I just put these on my 2003 Sprint ST. The left side is a breeze, just snip the zip tie for the clutch cable, remove the bar, install riser, and replace bar. The right side was technically just as easy, but had to fight the brake line to get the bar onto the riser, and still am a little concerned that the lines may be to tight. I rotated the bars and the line seems to be okay, but I'm still not entirely sure. I'm going to lift the front to see if the line is too tight with no load on the front. Also when rotating the bars left the right bar throttle cables contact the fairing enough to deform it until the bar is rotated away. I did this while riding as well and doesn't seem to add any risk, but no interference would be better.
