Constructed of heavy-duty mild steel, SW-MOTECH crashbars are designed to provide maximum protection, optical integration, and high-quality fit and finish.
Provides protection to both the fairing and engine without interfering with oil changes or cylinder valve covers for valve adjustments!
All components are protected against corrosion by sandblasting and powdercoating.
The metallic silver powdercoated finish has a gloss clear topcoat, providing an additional layer of rust protection and beautifying your ride!
High-strength frame mounting points and 26.9mm diameter mild steel tubing provide heavy duty protection.
Also provides greater ground clearance AND cornering clearance than Hepco-Becker lower crashbars!
Installation instructions are written in English.

Crashbar fits the motorcycle with or without Machine Art Moto X-Head valve cover protectors installed (see photo on this page).

I am considering the sw-motech mild steel upper and lower crash bars,BUT I fear that they will easy to scratch and chip. Mild steel rusts very quickly when exposed to air. Does anyone out there have experience with this product over a period time in the real world of off road road use. Would you buy this product again or go with stainless steel?
