SW-MOTECH Alu-Rack toprack for TraX, Givi & Hepco-Becker topcases
When the racks are removed, only 4 small mounting tabs remain visible on either side of the bike. These mounting tabs are almost invisible, preserving the original visual appearance and size of your motorcycle. Required luggage-specific adapter kits are sold separately. In addition, optional key locks (sold separately) are available to lock the racks to the bike, with the key unlocking a pair of special quick-release fasteners which secure the racks on each side. Bolt-on installation -- no cutting or welding of motorcycle frame or bodywork is necessary. Racks are designed to work with original equipment manufacturer components -- fender, exhaust, etc. The Twisted Throttle racks are ideal for the occasional weekend tourer who desires a "stealth" look during the week, as well as the weekday commuter who needs an unencumbered machine for spirited weekend fun. Whatever your needs, the Twisted Throttle racks allow maximum flexibility and convenience.
NOTE: This product will require relocation of the rear turn signals during installation. All necessary brackets, along with additional wiring, are included in the kit.

03.12.2012 10:41 » Locks improved Erik Stephens
David Carroll noted in early 2010 that he felt the locks in the original Trax boxes did not offer adequate security. The locks and latches were both heavily revised when the "Trax EVO" boxes (Trax's second generation) was released in 2011. As of early 2012, the only cases we have in stock are the new Trax EVO boxes with the second generation heavier duty latches and locks. That said, all luggage latches and locks from Trax, Givi, Coocase, Jesse, Touratech, Pelican or any other manufacturer of motorcycle luggage can be defeated with a crowbar and hammer if you have enough time and know what you're doing. As with most security, locks are a deterrent, not a Star Trek force field of invulnerability. Being careful about where and when you park is the best security you can buy.
