This accessory mount uses existing windscreen mounting points to provide a secure, flat mounting surface with an adjustable viewing angle and height. The 8 pre-drilled M6 mounting holes allow easy direct attachment of your motorcycle accessories. Pre-drilled holes are perfectly positioned to attach any RAM-B-238-compatible RAM mounts (sold separately) OR a TomTom Rider GPS.

Originally designed to allow easy, direct attachment of a Garmin Zumo 450, Zumo 550 to the Suzuki V-Strom. Additionally attaches the Garmin 2600 or 2700-series GPS units (using several RAM components) to the V-Strom, but also works with many other electronics..

Not compatible with 2002-2003 DL1000 V-Strom.

Will accept the cradle from Garmin Zumo 660 and 665 with the optional SW-MOTECH GPS Adapter Kit for the Garmin Zumo 660/665.

RAM-B-238 NOT necessary to attach the RAM mounts for a Garmin 2600/2700-series GPS to this mount. The RAM-B-238 should NOT be used to add arms to the mount platform, as excessive vibration may occur.

No modification of this mount is needed for the 76 series, 176 series, 2610 series or the II & III series Mounts.

An additional hole is pre-drilled in this mount when used with with the ram holders for the Garmin Etrex, Garmin Quest, Garmin 60 Series, and other RAM GPS mounts that have a 45 degree offset mounting position.

According to RagnCajn of Stromtrooper.com, the SW-MOTECH gadget mount can be combined with the Madstad windshield mount. Here's an excerpt from his February 2008 comments:

With the GPS cradle installed, you can still access Madstad knobs. It is tight with the GPS in the cradle, but my hands can fit. With the GPS out, it is no problem. There is no interference from the bracket at all. The only time I think there may be the slightest contact is if you bring the bracket to it's highest position and full-tilt back towards the rider.

The past month, more people than I can count have stopped and commented on how cool of a setup it is. I'd have to agree. Not taking your eyes off the road, or scanning from gauges to GPS to road is extremely comfortable.

It is a great setup. I'd highly recommend it.

This item replaces the older GPS.05.013.100 that was not vibration damped.

Admin note: This is a dedicated thread for discussing the SW-MOTECH vibration-damped GPS Holder (Suzuki DL1000 & DL650.  In the description, it says this mount will NOT hold the Garmin 660 (or, I would imagine, the 665, which has the same dimensions). Does anyone know why these units won't work with this mount? There's a picture of someone using it with an old Garmin 2610, which is bigger, but it seems to work fine. I just got a Garmin 660, and this is exactly how I want to mount it. Will a new version be released that will accommodate the 660 and 665? These are Garmin's latest units, and I would imagine that lots of folks will be buying them... Mr. Twisted's Answer: This mount will work with the Garmin 660 and 665 if you buy the appropriate
