Customer Testimonial: Kenneth K I had purchased the Hothands Overgrips and found them very easy to install on my Suzuki AN400 (2008). Instructions were clear & simple and easy to follow. Just remove the handlebar covers, place the Hothands on each grip, snake the wires along each of the handlebars and use the included zip-ties to tie the excess wire to the bars. The control unit has double sticky tape and also mounts easily. The 2 lead wires, I attached directly to the battery for ease of installation (so do not make the mistake of NOT shutting off the grip heaters when dismounting the scooter!) I drilled a hole in the battery cover large enough to accommodate both wires and simply attached to each battery terminal.
The grips, themselves heat up very quickly and although there is no heat control, other than the ON or OFF switch..You must wear gloves to avoid burning your hands..as they do get quite hot.... Overall..I would rate them a 9 out of 10, due to the lack off an adjustable heat controller.
