"EASY LOCK" tank bag connects to the Givi motorcycle-specific mounting ring (sold separately). Expandable from 14 to 22-liters. Easy Lock tank bag hovers over your tank to protect the finish, and has a map pocket, shoulder strap, integrated GPS holder, and a rain cover.
The Easy Lock System
The Easy Lock System for tankbags eliminates straps and magnetic attachments previously used to fasten tankbags to a motorcycle. Thanks to a small ring that is installed around the gas cap, incorporated with the unique structure of the base of the bag, the bag can now be attached by simply aligning it to the ring and pressing lightly until you hear a positive "click." It is equally as easy to remove the bag. To release pull the red lever located in the base. The mounting rings vary by the fuel cap type. Admin note: This is a dedicated thread for discussing the Givi Tankbag (T480 - Easylock). I received this as a bday present from my lovely wife in March, overall it's a great bag, space is on the smaller side, but you can easily fit necessities for a day trip. It comes with nice features like the built-in rain cover, and GPS/map area. One of the coolest aspect of the bag is that it does not touch the tank and can be quickly/simply removed. 2 small gripes: 1. Incredible glare from GPS/Map area - the plastic is a reflector that blinds you, unless you're riding on a dark day. Ineffective design. 2. The strap does not tuck in as neatly, so it spills out and can't get taut, making it look flaccid and unappealing! I'm glad I own it, but the GPS deficiencies lower the score on this bag quite a bit. You can always get a cheaper decent bag without GPS - this one flops in that department.
