The original BMW rear rack must be REMOVED from the passenger grab rail prior to installing the Givi F680 on the K1200RS or K1200GT (-'05).

Givi Topcase Rack (BMW K1200RS / K1200GT)
Strong, functional, and well-tested Monorack-style toprack for either general luggage or a Givi Monokey or Monolock compatible topcase (E460, E52, etc). The light design allows the perfect adjustment of the plate to the motorcycle using unique adjustable fasteners. Includes fitting kit and all hardware needed for mounting. Specify Monokey or Monolock plate when ordering.
All hardware needed to mount the Givi rack is included. Installs quickly using simple hand tools. No welding or cutting of existing frame or body parts required. Tough black enamel finish with some gray fittings or hardware as applicable.
May be used with or without BMW sidecases on the K1200RS & K1200GT.
The original BMW K1200GT rear luggage rack (a.k.a. the "accessory" BMW rear luggage rack on the K1200RS) on the must be removed before installing the Givi F680. The original grab bar on the motorcycle remains installed. See photo for further explanation.
No color-matched Givi topcase lid is available for the 2004 metallic blue BMW K1200GT; Givi recommends using a matte black topcase on this bike.
