Admin note: This is a dedicated thread for discussing the Givi Tankbag (T409). Have had mine for about two years now. It's my everyday to work 'purse' if you will. I keep a small maglite, digital tire gauge, tire plug kit, cell phone, wallet, earplugs, sport gloves, small exacta knife, and even my battery toothbrush and floss! The top has a velcro net pocket that I keep my registration and other small paperwork, sometimes a mapquest map when I am looking for a new location nearby. Love this little carry-all! Highly recommend it! Slaps right on the tank with no straps, so it comes right off when I leave the bike. Never had to use the 'security strap'. Don't know where I put it! Have not scratched my tank with it yet! Sits right over the gas port and comes right off when I have to fill up. Like I said, best buy for so little money, and so suited to a sportbike with it's low profile. Fairly waterproof, but not infalible to a heavy, constant downpour, but dries rapidly as well. I suggest spraying it with silicone shoe spray.
