07.31.2007 02:04 » GSXR-1000 K7 -- worked great Douglas Findley
Just got back from a 1350 mile 6 day camping trip in BC & Vancouver Island using the speedpack wide on my 2007 gixxer 1000. I also carried the tent bag accessory on top. It worked great! I was impressed how well it road the twisties considering it seems kind of large (I carried about 30 lbs). But no problems at all! The internal waterproof linings worked very well and my stuff stayed dry through a couple very wet days. I'm not sure how you'd mount this thing if you've removed your tail section. You need something to tie the rear straps to. The stock tail section worked great for the rear mounting as did the passenger peg hooks for the front straps.
