Each toprack includes pre-drilled holes to accept the RotopaX adapter to mount a RotopaX Pack to your bike!

I purchased this to mount onto my new to me 05 ST1300 to mount a topcase to. I liked the SW Motech because it allows for a variety of brands and accessories to mount to it via a variety of kits. The piece looks good on the bike and doesn't seem very out of place. I had to shim the bolts that it mounts with to the stock luggage area because they would not pull down tight and keep the rack from wiggling. I used some stainless washers I had from another project. I followed directions and used the stock hardware bushings, perhaps mine had been altered by previous owner. Also, the adapter kit I bought for the large SHAD case fits the case nicely, and it is VERY tight. I really have to push down on the case to get it to latch, which is good, but I doubt it'd be easy to take on and off all the time (luckily I plan on leaving the case on all the time for commuting.). Overall a nice rack and glad I bought it. Would definitely recommend to anyone adding additional luggage. (Posted on 4/11/2016)
