I bought this rack about two weeks ago. It seemed simple enough to attach with just six screws, but it was deceptively difficult. There are two screws under the passenger grab rail that are almost impossible to get tight if you follow the pictorial directions sequentially. I left all my bolts loose as the instructions said, but I was not happy when i got to that step and found out the above issue. I ended up readjusting the rack so that it sat wider at the tail and that helped. However, the top attachment then goes on harder and you have to deform the rack by pushing hard to get the front bolts through. Knowing these gotchas will get you through. Also have a torque wrench on hand. I didn't and ended up snapping one of the top rack bolts. The rep at twisted throttle was understanding when I called and sent the replacement bolt right away. Also be careful. This is designed to be lightweight so every nut appears to be aluminum. There is a mild danger of stripping otherwise. If I added up the time to install, I'd say it took me about 4-6 hours. That includes adding the top case adaptor which uses a locking bolt that I could not get through the provided snapping washer. I ended up ditching the washer and it went in just fine.Trial run is today... I'm glad to have found this rack here because it frees me up to stop using the bicycle panniers that I adapted for the motorcycle - an acceptable, but not ideal solution. (Posted on 5/14/2016)

Much searching to find a toprack for the elderly GPX250 here in Australia - no luck. Local garage said that this is the best product they have seen so go ahead and buy. Twisted Throttle had proper pictures and reviews (not just generic pictures of any old rack) so that I feel confident I have ordered the right product - important when paying all that freight to Australia! Looking forward to it's arrival! (Posted on 5/7/2016)

"6 bolts, easy install," I thought. 2 hours later, I was able to catch my breath.

The first screw is the awkward one, hiding on the bottom side of the sissy bar (L and R), and the rack/bike body leave little to no room to access this. to get it in, you'd need a skinny flexible socket wrench. But the satisfaction of having the top rack and Givi box on solid outweighed the hassle. (Posted on 9/1/2015)

Waited for *years* for this product. Nicely finished metal parts, good instructions, and the fit is perfect.... only one issue; the bolt that attaches the rack to the underside of the stock grab rail is rather a pain to get in properly. Aside from that, a beautiful piece of kit, and solid as the proverbial masonry outbuilding. (Posted on 6/4/2013)
