With considerable patience managed to fit onto the factory bracket for stock horn. Created a couple of wire leads to connect horn to bikes existing wiring. Hope the plastic can handle the spot right behind the the rad. Would recommend you acquire a ratcheting wrench if you are installing on an older wee. Tight space very limited working area...I had minimum throw range for wrench while tightening the supplied nut. You will have to bend the stock bracket, without removing it from bike. Persever, it can be done. Two bevy job! (Posted on 8/15/2018)

Put this on my 2004 Triumph Thruxton to replace the wimpy anemic OEM horn... very easy install, but initially it would not work with the engine off or at idle, possibly due to higher current or whatever (says no relay replacement needed so I didn't). I swore a little and took it for a ride, and once I was riding at a good clip it started working - nice loud low tone, sounds good. Now it will work with the engine idling, but not off. Maybe on bikes with a more robust electrical system it will work while off, not sure. (Posted on 8/6/2018)

I installed this on my son's Intruder since his original horn sounded like an anemic kitten mewling. I is bigger than the original, so had to get creative with the mount angle to avoid the fender hitting it with full suspension travel. We HAD to use a relay to provide adequate current since the existing horn circuit was no where near beefy enough. It only clicked hooking to existing wiring. Plan on a relay with older bikes with little pancake horns. 4 stars only since it wasn't plug and play. 5 stars on volume improvement. Son was nearly merged into twice by texting idiots and this horn got their attention NOW. (Posted on 6/11/2018)

Despite being advertised not to require a 30amp relay, it will need one, as there was not enough power getting to it on my 2013 Thruxton which is 3.5amp draw. Also it was missing the mounting bracket. Fabbed a better mount myself and wired in the relay and it is the bomb- literally. Loud as a car horn. 4-Stars for the product but 5-stars for Twisted Throttle who stood by the product and gave me a credit for the missing parts and install inconvenience since it was advertised as plug and play. I recommend Twisted Throttle in any transaction. (Posted on 4/23/2018)

Replaced the stock horn on my 2017 Triumph Bonneville with this. Stock was a safety hazard, I couldn't even hear it with my helmet on.
This is at least 5 times louder and has a nice deep honk to it, that traffic should not have a problem hearing. Bolted right on the stock bracket, just turned it off center a wee bit and the fit looks like it was made for it. (Posted on 3/5/2018)

Before removing the stock horn from my Harley-Davidson Road King Classic, I tested it with a meter and found it had an output of 102.9 Db. The SoundBomb Mini, once installed, and tested with the same meter in exactly the same place, had an output of 103.7 Db (and yes, this is with the horn aimed at the opening of the horn housing). This is 9.3 Db less than what Denali claims--an absolutely huge discrepancy--and not a significant improvement over stock for my Road King. The tone is clearer, but the horn is not noticeably louder. Oh ... and the tabs for the electrical connections are in a really poor place for the Harley "cowbell" housing. I would send it back, but for thirty bucks, it is not worth it to me to invest the time to take it off and re-install stock. Needless to say, I am quite disappointed. (Posted on 3/4/2018)

Living and riding in Toronto can be a bit of a challenge at times. The factory horn just doesn't cut it to let people know you are there, it almost makes people giggle. I wanted something to get peoples attention and this horn does. It installed in less than five minutes. the only reason that it got 4 out of 5 stars, was because it was not as compact or discrete as I would of liked, but the level of noise it makes makes up for the bulkyish look I think it has on a naked bike. With an electronics background, I know a horn of this type should not have a polarity preference (and the instructions confirm this, even though the literature marks the terminals positive and negative.) The new horn I attempted to mount definitely had a preference, as one connection produced a feeble wail while the other produced its full sound. So I suggest you try the horn wires both ways. I also made my own custom bracket, which was necessary to mount the new horn in the exact same location as the stock horn. (Posted on 5/24/2017)

Home made bracketry between the R.H. sidecover and upper shock mount (Trident T150 style) with an ex Nescafe jar lid ( perfect fit ) painted black to tidy the back up .. Rectifier re located to original horn location. Also run an adjuster from headlight bottom back to bottom yoke (light flopping about too much) so that space was not available. Not loud like air horns which can frighten people and cause accidents. Brilliant ! E mail and I will send a photo . shegedin.d@gmail.com (Posted on 5/8/2017)

My 1014 HD Dyna Low Rider's stock horn was pitiful and I was looking for a replacement to fit the location between the front tubing. The only high decibel unit I could find was at Twisted Throttle, the Denali Sound Bomb mini. It fits perfectly to the stock mounting plate and does not need the extra mounting hardware. It is loud and has already performed as expected, it got the attention of a lazy lane changer! I will fit other HD models as well. The attached photos are the stock and replacement horn. I ordered this to replace the stock Africa Twin horn that was very quiet and gave a polite "beep" sound. The was a direct replacement for the OEM horn - both the mechanical mounting as well as the 2 electric connections- installation only took a couple of minutes. The end result is a much louder horn that now gets other's attention. Not the loudest horn I have ever heard, but a very significant upgrade from the OEM horn. (Posted on 4/6/2017)

I bought this to replace the tinny sounding OEM horn on my 2016 Bonneville T100. The fit was not an exact replacement, so I had to make a bracket from the pieces included with the horn so that it would mount in between the side reflectors and not protrude to interfere with full fork travel and hit the fender. In the process of doing so, I discovered that the factory had mounted the clutch cable under the reflector bracket and bent it which was all rectified with the installation of the new horn. The sound wasn't quite what I had expected, but it is a significant improvement over the tiny 'beep' of the original and accomplishes being heard and noticed when I need it -- all at an amazing price. Swap out should only have taken 5-10 minutes. However , mounting stud on Denali horn was 3/16" shorter than original.
Had to grind off 1/8" of metal insert in mounting grommet to fit horn.
This added 30 minutes to do. My preference to keep horn rubber mounted. Reason for downgraded ease of installation
Job completed with fairing attached. (Posted on 1/26/2017)

My 2016 R1200GS had a squeaky little horn just like most other bikes. I'm not one to add unnecessary modifications to the electrical system, but this item is plug and play - no extra wires and no relay. The horn is durable and well made. The sound is loud enough for my liking and has a great tone. On my bike the horn was a near perfect fit for the factory location and the optional wiring connector made swapping horns a 30 minute install - 20 minutes of which were getting the tools ready and then cleaning up. The results were fantastic. No wires were CUT so the process is reversible. The horn was mounted in the exact same spot as the original. And the Denali SoundBomb lives up to it's name! Really LOUD.

I would highly recommend this modification to replace any factory horn.
A very satisfying experience and the CAN BUS connector was icing on the cake. (Posted on 12/4/2016)

I got this horn as a replacement to my OEM horn that was way too quiet and high pitched for my liking; I needed a horn where I could be heard.

Between this and the Dual tone Soundbomb, the folks at TwistedThrottle suggested this one and installation was a breeze. This mounts directly where the OEM horn went and connectors just go straight on. I had to fiddle with the positioning though, as the Soundbomb Mini IS a little taller and wider than my OEM one. After i got the positioning right though, it's awesome and I would recommend this for anyone looking to get a louder horn for safety but don't want to fiddle around with wires and whatnot. This was bought to replace the stock meeper that had already been replaced under warranty once. It has a deeper and louder tone that should be easier to hear provided the other distractions are not too overpowering. I almost never use the horn other than to wake someone up at a green light. If there is an issue in traffic, I am busy dealing with it and don't have time or interest in "toodling" a horn. For the price, this is a good unit if it lasts. Only time will tell on that point. The right-side fork on my 2011 ZX10R will hit the Denali when turned right all the way if installed in exactly the same place as the OEM horn. The kit does come with a couple extension brackets though and I was able to use one of these to move the new horn closer to the centerline of the bike. This installation required me to attach the extension bracket horizontally to move the Denali as far to the center as possible which keeps it out of the way of the fork. The screw holding the extension bracket to the OEM brace cannot be tightened enough to keep the Denali from turning downward under its own weight though. In order to keep the extension bracket horizontal, I used safety wire from the screw bracket on the back of the Denali up to the top of the OEM horn brace above the radiator. Now when I use the Denali in traffic, other drivers no longer look for a motor scooter! (Posted on 6/6/2016)

My 2003 Yamaha FZ1 has 130 rear wheel horsepower--and a stock horn that bleats like a little lamb. The Denali is much louder, and has the tone of a regular auto horn. It fit the space the stocker was in just fine. The Denali has to face downward, so my stock mounting strap wouldn't work. The straps that come with the Denali are thin and a bit flimsy, so I sistered them together and used both of them. I'm very pleased with the horn, and feel safer with it in place. Received my Denali Soundbomb Mini (low tone) horn quicker than expected.
It couldn't be any easier to install. Unplug 2 wires and remove one nut to remove the pitiful stock horn. The Denali installed on the same bracket with one nut and two wire connectors that plugged onto the stock spade connectors on my bike. While the Denali isn't as loud as an air horn or dual horn setup, it's definitely MUCH
louder than stock and is light and easy to mount. My only small complaint is the length of the mounting stud. If you wish to use a lock washer or flat washer when mounting the horn, the threaded stud is a little on the short side. Another 1/4 to 1/2 inch in length would have been appreciated, but I managed to make it work with a little work. Would definitely recommend this item. (Posted on 1/14/2016)

I called TT to get advice on a horn small enough to use in the limited space available on my new Yamaha FJ-09. After the usual thoughtful discussion with the TT rep, I ordered the single Denali SoundBomb Low Tone unit. Inexpensive, small and very easy to install (15 minutes) with only one tool. Frankly I was skeptical that a single unit, instead of the usual two unit low + high tone horns would do the job-Wrong! This thing is the bomb (Sorry). It is just plain loud, and the tone is sort of intimidating. Clearly, one should not use one's horn without reason, but if you must, And on a bike that happens from time to time, this thing will do the job of announcing your presence in no uncertain terms. Thanks TT, I'm impressed. (Posted on 11/8/2015)

I tested the old horn from my BMW 11' R1200RT against the Denali. I got exactly the same volume out of both 100DB at roughly 5 feet. I was surprised the Denali was not louder than the BMW stock horn. I am going to keep the Denali as it has a different tone which I think is more noticeable. I don't know at what DB the stock disc horn is rated, so may not be a defect of the Denali, but I would take with a grain of salt the Touratech statement "Mini is twice as loud as a typical 100 decibel disc horn". Bought a connector REPAIR PLUG, 2-PIN - NO. 610619 to connect to the Denali to the BMW witing, which made the install a sinch. (Posted on 11/4/2015)

I think this has to be one of the best upgrades for safety without installing an air horn. This thing sounds like a car horn and is such an improvement over the OEM disc horns. The install couldn't get any easier either. This was purchased for my 2015 Suzuki DL1000 (Posted on 11/3/2015)

Installed on a 2010 Bonneville, only took a couple minutes, very simple. Louder but not overwhelming, could be a bit louder. Tone is much better than the tinny sounding stocker. Because my bike came with crash bars I had to use one of the provided adapters to mount it up. If you don't have the bars you may be able to direct mount with the Triumph hardware. Glad I did it, great deal at this price. (Posted on 10/24/2015)

I just mounted this Denali horn onto my bike, and its turned my horn from a meek 'pardon me, excuse me' horn to a 'HERE I AM !' horn.
Great loud, low tone, that get's peoples attention. I'd say its like having
a car horn on your bike. (Posted on 10/20/2015)
