The Heidenau K60 Scout is the perfect blend of on and off road capability. Offering longevity on pavement and grip off-road where it really matters. The center lug on the 150/70-17 is one solid band of rubber that provides straight tracking on the pavement. The area between the lugs is quite substantial allowing mud, dirt, sand and gravel to freely pass without turning the tire into a slick.

I got this tires to replace my pilot 4... Most of my ride is on the road, but wanted a tire that can have good grip also in trails.
I am super happy with this tire. Has great grip in trails and also in wet and dry road. (Posted on 8/23/2018)

Never had any problems with slippage, always sure footed on any surface. Unfortunately got a nail in rear with only 5k on tire, will repair but expect another 5k out of it. Put another scout on rear. Have friends who are more hard core riders than I am and consider this tire a 70/30 tire not 50/50. (Posted on 3/20/2018)

this is my 2nd buy on this tire got 12000 miles on first set with my 2015 vSTROM yea its not cheap but if u paying to have it changed and getting 4000 to 6000 miles with your tires now the price will be offset with the savings from less changes and this is a great tire on or off road (Posted on 8/16/2017)

Put these on my Triumph Explorer. Noticed a little vibration under 30mph But awesome above that. Nobbies, it's to be expected. Road in some nasty rain and had 0 problems with grip. Can't wait to try them in the dirt! (Posted on 7/31/2017)

anyone wanting an aggressive yet road usable tire should go ahead and spend the extra cash and buy this tire. This tire performs better than the knobbies I replaced with this tire. It seems a bit pricey, but when you put it on you will see that you definitely get what you pay for. (Posted on 1/6/2017)

I bit the bullet and bought this tire when planning a second (longer) trip to Alaska last summer. The previous trip I had eaten up a Shinko 705 in 5,000 kms on the chip seal up there (on a Triumph Explorer). After 12,000 kms this tire still had 30% tread left and had performed incredible, in some NASTY rainy weather as well. I changed it for a new one as I'm in Panama headed for Ushuaia and it's possible this tire might last the whole trip. I mated it with the Heidenau front and except for a tiny buzz on asphalt these tires are awesome. (Posted on 12/8/2016)

These are meaty tires, instant off-pavement aggression. They look aggressive and can back it up. On pavement they handle the twistys like a champ. (Posted on 9/28/2015)

Had these installed on my new F800GS last year when I picked her up instead of the stock road tires. Excellent performance on the street, in the rain, and offroad for some trail riding. Great wear characteristics - these will last quite some time before having to be turfed! (Posted on 7/14/2015)
